College Football Parlay Bets
A parlay is a single bet that links together two or more individual wagers for a high payout. A 2 team parlay might pay 13/5, a three team parlay might pay 6/1, a four team parlay might pay 10/1, and so forth with the payouts getting higher with more teams or totals selected. For a single bet, 2 to 8 teams or totals can be selected.
College Football Parlay Picks. It's common to hear a disclaimer before any good handicapper talks about teasers and parlays. It usually starts off acknowledging that parlay bets are usually bad. No side picks in comments. You can provide a link to your other picks in the other daily threads. No parlays/teasers, please use the parlay/teaser thread for those. Must be between -200 and +200 (1.5 and 3.0) Bet size should be between 1 and 5 units.
In order for the parlay bet to win, every one of the wagers must win or push (tie). If any of the selections lose, your wager loses, regardless of the outcome or cancellation of the other games. If one or more selections is a tie, postponed, incomplete, cancelled or rescheduled for another day, then the wager reverts to the next lowest number. For example, if you place a 5 team parlay and have 4 winners and a tie, your wager pays out as a 4 team parlay. If you place a 2 team parlay and one team wins and one ties, the wager becomes a straight bet.
The resulting wager will have the same risk amount with the win being calculated to reflect the odds of the remaining team (Example: On a two team $100 parlay with team A +110 and team B -110 if A ties and B wins the resulting wager will be a straight play on B risking $100 to win $91).
Are you a sports gambler who likes to get lots of bang for you buck and is ok with assuming risk? Then parlays are for you!
Parlay bets (aka: Accumulators) are wagers in which you select 2 or more point spreads from the day’s card and make a bet that everything you picked will cover the spread.
Traditionally, parlays can be bet from 2-12 teams but some sportsbooks out there are starting to test the waters with parlays up to 15 or more teams.
The attraction to parlays that most bettors have is the ginormous payouts which can be achieved with a very small amount risked. Let’s take a look at a college football parlay payout chart:

Now let’s take a look at an example of a parlay bet:
College Football Parlay Bets Against
Let’s say you pick 5 teams and bet them in a $2 parlay. Let’s say they all win. You have won a $2 wager that pays 25-1 odds which means you have won $50. ($25 for each $1 you bet)
If one of your spreads had not covered, your whole bet would be a loser.
That brings us to another point. A new bet out there is called a progressive parlay. This new wager allows you to bet a parlay and have some losses but the bet still pays out at lesser odds. To read more about them, click here: Progressive Parlays.
